STUDIO Fall 2013
An esquisse studio project which introduces the Rocky Mountain region to surfing. The form must attract both professionals and novices to the site of the 2002 Winter Olympic ski jumps and luge track where they can learn to surf, or improve their abilities. The building will also host competitions. The tensile membrane structure allows one large open span, passive day lighting, and acts as a glowing beacon at night.
